Happiness is an understatement to describe how Taylor Swift felt during the 52nd Grammy Awards, as she bagged four Grammy awards including Album of the Year. Both Taylor Swift and Beyonce Knowles made history in Grammy awards. Taylor Swift is the youngest artist to win the prestigious Album of the Year. While Beyonce Knowles is the first female artist to take home six awards including Song of the Year by her hit song “Single Ladies”.
Now, the question that floods the web is: Is she worthy? I think her songs are okay, just right for a teeny bopped love. And she’s pretty. I just don’t like her eyebrows though.
By the way, where’s Kanye West? Is he banned from any Awards Night? :)

This is the photo that leaked in Facebook. According to the caption, his name is Love Thadani. He’s a model, and apparently he has a foreign blood. If the guy is familiar to you, you might have seen him from Pinoy Big Brother Season 1, wherein he fetched his then girlfriend-Chix. According again to Facebook, he has been replaced because his body got bigger. If you have noticed, the guy playing Bro in the hit series May Bukas Pa is leaner.
Ironically, Bro’s face or identity is being kept secret even in shootings. When Santino and Bro would have a scene, my source said the production team would not let anyone see Bro. Apparently, “former Bro’ wants a taste of stardom.
Brittany Murphy was found dead in her home by her mother today. She reportedly collapsed in their bathroom, where she and her husband, Simon Monjack lives.
I can say that one of the most remarkable performances of Brittany Murphy is her rendition of Boogie Wonderland in the movie Happy Feet. She started her acting and singing career at the age of 14. She has starred in many films including 8 Mile, Just Married and Sin City.
Brittany Murphy is 32 years old.
Another star came from You Tube. After he and his mother posted videos of his performances, Justin Bieber, became popular with whooping more than 15 million views on every video. A former Marketing Executive of So So Def, Scooter Braun, discovered Justin Bieber through You Tube. He paved the way in meeting the young pop sensation with his idol, Usher. Usher had him signed in Island Records.
Justin’s pre-album singles: One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Love Me, and Favorite Girl were included in the Top 15 and Top 40 Canadian Hits and Billboard 100, respectively.
26 days before Christmas! :)As the Yuletide season is approaching, I have prepared the gifts I will give to my ‘inaanaks’ before I run out of budget. Just this morning, I went to 168 Shopping Mall with my mother, sister and two of her friends. As expected, hundreds of shoppers are found in that mall. I’ve realized some things I should have prepared for a hassle-free shopping:
1. Wear comfortable clothes. Don’t dress like you’re going to a party or a fashion show, else, you’ll attract snatchers.
2. Do not wear accessories. A simple fancy earrings for girls is okay. Remember, you’re going to a very crowded place and you wouldn’t want to go home without your wristwatch, bracelet or necklace (especially if these cost your month’s salary).
3. Wear simple and comfortable shoes. Your feet will play a vital role in this activity. (lol!)
4. Keep your wallet in a secured place. It’s better if you’ll bring a body bag.
5. Bring BIG paper bags or plastic bags. If you intend to buy a lot of items, these are useful. It will save you at least 50 pesos from buying these to put all your purchases in just one luggage.
6. Learn Mandarin or Fukien language. As we all know, most of sellers are Chinese, it might help in getting big discounts. :)
7. Prepare a shopping list. So you won’t forget someone’s gift.
So there, I only missed nos. 5, 6 and 7. Lol. Have a fun-filled and hassle-free shopping! :)

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up votes has been stopped this week because Tom Mott was granted forced eviction by Big Brother. After three consecutive losses on the Pinoy Big Battle, Tom was pressured and out of control. His determination to win in the game made him reacted violently. He punched the wall, thus violating Big Brother’s house rules. Tom has to leave Big Brother’s House tomorrow night.

Tom has the star quality, he has a chance of having a spot in local showbiz, if he’ll not to choose to go back in United States Military.
Survivor Philippines: Palau had its Grand Finale tonight. Top 3 Survivors were Jeff Gaitan, Amanda Colley Van Cool, and Justine Ferrer.
After being accused of hurtful words to the top 3, the Jurors, composed of 7 castaways played the vital role of choosing whose the Pinoy Sole Survivor of Survivor Philippines: Palau.
Finally, a Survivor was chosen. Congratulations to Amanda Colley Van Cool! :)
ABS-CBN’s Lovers in Paris Pinoy adaptation starring KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual is undeniably fuzzy. I’m not a fan of either of them, yet, they had me watching Lovers in Paris every night. Hmm, maybe they have what you called “on-screen chemistry”. Plus the scenes and story itself is captivating. Or maybe because I like romantic-comedy type of story.
I’ve noticed the big change in KC Concepcion’s acting. She has improved her craft. Unlike before, I found her overacting and thought she’s not fit for the role. Good job, KC!
As for Piolo Pascual, undoubtedly, he’s one of today’s finest actors. If only persistent rumor about his gender will suffice, I would believe the romantic link of him and KC.
Many are not aware that there’s a recent issue governing United Nations agencies and related groups, declaring ABORTION, a universally human right. In other countries, abortion has been legalized. Mainstays of SOP, La Diva, composed of Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia were chosen to sing the Philippine National Anthem at the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight on November 14, 2009. These La Diva members all came from GMA 7’s singing contest.

Many raised eyebrows, perhaps skeptic about their voice, personality and popularity. Some even doubt Pacquiao for choosing them, speculating GMA 7 is behind it. Personally, La Diva members has good singing voice and I guess, Manny Pacquiao wouldn’t want to be dictated on whom he will choose to sing on his fight.
Well, the pressure lies on the three girls. They should prove that they deserved to be chosen. Not only by showing off their vocal powers but most importantly, by singing the National Anthem accordingly.
Starstruck V the Strikeback premiered tonight at GMA-7. StarStruck’s host, Dingdong Dantes, narrated this season’s twists and challenges. It also featured the StarStruck Survivors who made big names in the Philippines’ showbiz industry such as Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal. StarStruck Avengers, though they didn’t win, also made it to showbiz like Sheena Halili, Paulo Avelino, Mart Escudero, Katrina Halili, Rich Asuncion, Lj Reyes, Yasmine Kurdi, Dion Ignacio, Rainier Castillo, Arci Muñoz, Charisse Solomon and Iwa Moto were featured as well.
StarStruck V also paid tribute to the departed who became part of the reality show: Khryss Adalia and Douglas Quijano who became StarStruck Councils, and to Marky Cielo, StarStruck 3 Ultimate Survivor. I got teary-eyed when they showed video clips of Marky Cielo. His untimely death is unforgettable.
Other hosts of StarStruck V will be Raymond Gutierrez and Carla Abellana.
UPDATE:
Since Family Feud’s host Richard Gomez will run for 2010 politics, he will be temporarily replaced by Dingdong Dantes. Thus, leaving StarStruck V hosting to Raymond Gutierrez, Carla Abellana, and surprise – Dennis Trillo.
Hermes Bautista of Pinoy Big Brother Season 3 Double Up Edition is a proud Kapampangan although he was born in United States. He stayed in San Agustin, City of San Fernando Pampanga during his teen-age years.

When Hermes entered Big Brother’s house, he was not quite on a spotlight. But recently, due to Carol’s obvious “thing” on him that she even accused him of being a flirt, he’s getting attention now. Although some says, he looks like a “call boy”. Ooppss, my friend will get angry by this hehe. Just a little bit of info: My friend and Hermes used to be textmates and almost courted her, but he went back to California. Ssshhhhh!! (^^ ,)
This is the official trailer for 500 Days of Summer starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschannel.
The first time I’ve watched Zooey Deschannel was on “The Happening”
opposite Mark Wahlberg. 500 Days of Summer is a story of a boy meets girl, as its tagline. However, it is not a typical love story, don’t expect a fairy tale ending. I haven’t watch it, yet some of my friends who did are not happy with how the ending goes.
Finally, News Anchor Korina Sanchez and Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas tie the knot today, by four o’clock in the afternoon at Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City.
This puts to rest the rumor that Senator Mar Roxas is just using Korina for his political agenda. Despite his retrieval on his plan of running for President, Senator Mar proves that LOVE is the reason why he married Korina.
Principal sponsors were: Former Senator Jovito Salonga, Presidentiable Noynoy Aquino, ABS-CBN’s Eugenio Lopez III, Chief Justice Reynaldo Puno, Jorge Araneta, Ms. Rosa Rosal, Helen Costales, Ruby Roxas, Cecilia Lazaro and Maria Fores.
My Mom asked, “Will Korina be able to give birth?”
Let’s see.
