What makes graduation a memorable event for students? Well, it marks the end of grueling hours of reviews, dreaded thesis and terror teachers. But it’s not the end of continuous sacrifices and hard work, for it is the beginning of a new journey, of welcoming the REAL WORLD.
This month onwards, jobseekers increase apparently because of fresh graduates. Just a few tips for fresh grads who are currently seeking job:
1. Prepare your documents early on. Have multiple copies of your credentials if you intend to apply to different companies, which you should be.
2. Know the background of the company you want to apply. It is necessary to know what line of business you’re applying for. Interviewers would like to know if you’re really interested to be part of their companies.
3. Be prepared for the initial and final interviews. Know your capabilities and point out your strengths without overdoing it. Look directly into the eyes of the interviewer and be honest.
4. Be sure to come to your scheduled interview to avoid being blacklisted.
5. Dress properly when applying and especially during interviews. Physical appearance do count.
6. If you got the job, be prepared for the obstacles you might encounter. Earning money is really difficult, it is way different from going to school.
Hope these tips would help. Goodluck! ;)
