I grew up watching Power Rangers and my favorite is none other than – PINK RANGER! Power Rangers was first adapted from the Japanese Tokusatsu Super Sentai Series, and it was dubbed of course in Tagalog when showed in Philippines. Now, the Power Ranger series is being aired on the Fox network. It is currently the long-running American children show purchased by Walt Disney.
On its 15th season and 13th series, Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive, a Filipina actress is playing the role of Rose The Pink Ranger. She is RHODA MONTEMAYOR. Her father is my Cabalen, a Kapampangan and her mother hails from Ilocos. The 29 year-old Filipina was born and raised in London. Her dancing prowess was a big factor to be selected as the Pink Ranger among dozens of aspirants from Australia, New Zealand and India among others.
Her first movie appearance was Finding Neverland which starred Johnny Depp.
