The Buliks and Powerpuff Girls

Recently, the Buliks and Powerpuffs reunited after almost two years. Huh! Two years, how time really flies fast! We?ve been busy with our own lives ? work, family and love life. One of us is already married, while the rest ? busy focusing on work, including me (ehem!).

Okay, maybe you?re wondering who the hell are these ?Buliks? and ?Powerpuffs?. Well, they are my college friends and classmates for three years (I was in different section on my first year). The guys were called ?Buliks? because they were compared to a chicken classified as buliks, actually I really don?t get it ?til now (hey guys, supply me the info!) =)

Then, the ?Powerpuffs? ? of course, us girls. Actually, we?re four, so I don?t know why our classmates called us powerpuffs (hmmm, maybe they couldn?t think of any).

The bonding actually started when we lived under one roof (ei, don?t get me wrong!). We needed an apartment so that we could complete our thesis. The powerpuff girls saw the PED-ANA apartment along Pulong-bulo, Angeles City ? and was it by fate that the Buliks saw us that day? Hehe!. It was a two-bedroom apartment, with living room, kitchen, laundry area, and one bathroom ? two huge for us powerpuffs, so we agreed to share the apartment with the Buliks (also to lessen the burden of paying the rent and bills.)

Bryan Edner a.k.a. Bangking, joined us too though he?s not a classmate/thesis mate. (He majored in psychology). But it was our appreciation to have the ?wise guy? (ei bangks, you owe me with this one!)

We have many unforgettable memories in Ped-Ana apartment. Love teams were made ? Gudo and Khai; Jhomai and Sherai; Fore and Xena; and Wes and me (oh yes it?s me!). But of course, that was for reel (at least for us girls, I don?t know for the boys, hehe!) =)

How about the scandal? No, not the ?Ped-Ana Apartment Scandal? (if there was any, diba mga Buliks?). It was the La Salle scandal, I got the chance to see it courtesy of the Buliks ? actually, just a glimpse of it cause the powerpuffs were watching Endless Love then while the Buliks were watching the scandal on the computer at the other side (sorry guys, I have to blurt it out, hehe!)

And of course, how could I forget the ?Greasy Man?. I cried because of this. Well, I got pissed off by the Buliks two nights before our oral defense. All tensed up and worried by our thesis; I was super sensitive that time, guilty of charge. We were having our review by our consultant (none other than Kuya Sean!). We were inside the boy?s room cause we were using Wes? computer, while the Buliks were watching tv. Then, kuya Sean jokingly said that we have poor chance of passing the oral defense. I said, ?Iiihhh, Kuya Sean!?, surprisingly with a voice like of Mahal. The Bulik Clan laughed their lungs out. Laughing also, I threw a slipper on them and to my surprise, Japhet threw it back to me angrily, saying something like: ?Pag kayo ang aarte n?yo, nagagalit kayo agad?. I didn?t fight back, instead I walked out on to the powerpuffs? room. I sat crying on my bed followed by Khukhai whom I heard said something to the guys in an angry voice before slamming the door (thanks Crab for the support, hehe!)

It took days before I found myself talking to the Buliks again, by the way, some of them apologize to me (ka-drama, neh! Hehe). And it was just then I realized why Japhet said those things to me. It was because days before that heated argument happened, he was doing his laundry on the pail which we also used in bathing. Xena was the one who actually saw him, she just narrated it to me. In which, I, in return told Jap to use the laundry tub (batya) instead. I don?t know if I sarcastically said it cause he got angry, hehe! Later on, I realized from the Buliks, that he was hurt because he?s not a taong-grasa naman, hence he was tagged as the ?Greasy Man?. (Sorry Jap, I wrote this one, I just want to clarify that I didn?t mean it that way, hehe!)

But anyway, I?m just glad that I saw them once again (although, we, the powerpuffs go out once in a while). The reunion is also unforgettable because of our ?misadventures? on our way to Bataan. I hope next year, it will be well planned. =) But still, I had a great time with you guys. =)
