Superman Returns

Last week, me and my officemate Ate Anna, watched Superman Returns. Actually, when I first saw the trailer on tv, I wasn?t that enthusiast to watch it on big screen (although, Brandon Routh is really handsome). I thought, there?s nothing new on the story, it?s just that Superman ? returns. But when I read its synopsis on Philippine Star, I was convinced to watch it na, Ate Anna also insisted.

So off to Southmall, we watched Superman Returns after office hours. Brandon Routh was really the perfect choice to portray Clark Kent/Superman. He resembles Christopher Reeves. The Director, Bryan Singer, is good at his young age. But we weren?t satisfied by the story itself. Parang kulang? I was expecting more, actually. I didn?t like how the story ended ? Lois Lane is still engaged with Richard, her fianc?; her son still didn?t know that his dad is Superman; and Lois hasn?t discovered that Clark is the Superman. But perhaps, there would be Superman Returns Part II and hopefully I could watch these expectations of mine on it. However, the costumes, settings and effects are okay. And Brandon Routh is good in acting, and is really handsome, hehe. But sorry for us girls, he already has a girlfriend. I wonder what the lucky girl looks like. Oh come on, dream on! =)
