ABS-CBN’s Lovers in Paris Pinoy adaptation starring KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual is undeniably fuzzy. I’m not a fan of either of them, yet, they had me watching Lovers in Paris every night. Hmm, maybe they have what you called “on-screen chemistry”. Plus the scenes and story itself is captivating. Or maybe because I like romantic-comedy type of story.
I’ve noticed the big change in KC Concepcion’s acting. She has improved her craft. Unlike before, I found her overacting and thought she’s not fit for the role. Good job, KC!
As for Piolo Pascual, undoubtedly, he’s one of today’s finest actors. If only persistent rumor about his gender will suffice, I would believe the romantic link of him and KC.
hello, i agree with you, im also not a fan of the two, in fact i find kc’s acting medyo oa sa past movies nya ,at first i was kinda hesitant to watch this series,I was able to watch kse the original, cant imagine back then kung paano i poportray ni kc yung role …i started watching this when i had no choice na(well, compared to the other one ..stairway.) now,.i’m hooked! can’t wait see each episode.. kc’c acting is also a revelation,i guess it helps kung magagaling din mga kasama mo..and you’re right, the chemistry is just there, no kissing scenes yet, hug pa lang,.kinilig ako.hehehe..kudos sa cast and crew.i just found out the head of the creative writing here is ricky lee, no wonder kaya pala kahit may mga changes sa story , i still find it interesting, in fact i’m begining to like this version beter
Oh i see, that’s why the story captures the heart of Pinoys, Ricky Lee is behind it. I heard, the first few scenes in Paris were re-shoot because Gabby Lopez didn’t find it romantic.
Piolo and Kc are great actors and i’ve watch piolo’s drama with Judy ann and he acts well like wise with kc and richard Gutierrez at yung maala ala mo kaya with Derek Ramsay…they(piolo and Kc) are cute so i want to watch their team up.
