26 days before Christmas! :)As the Yuletide season is approaching, I have prepared the gifts I will give to my ‘inaanaks’ before I run out of budget. Just this morning, I went to 168 Shopping Mall with my mother, sister and two of her friends. As expected,  hundreds of shoppers are found in that mall. I’ve realized some things I should have prepared for a hassle-free shopping:

1. Wear comfortable clothes.  Don’t dress like you’re going to a party or a fashion show, else, you’ll attract snatchers.

2. Do not wear accessories. A simple fancy earrings for girls is okay. Remember, you’re going to a very crowded place and you wouldn’t want to go home without your wristwatch, bracelet or necklace (especially if these cost your month’s salary).

3. Wear simple and comfortable shoes.  Your feet will play a vital role in this activity. (lol!)

4. Keep your wallet in a secured place. It’s better if you’ll bring a body bag.

5. Bring BIG paper bags or plastic bags. If you intend to buy a lot of items, these are useful. It will save you at least 50 pesos from buying these to put all your purchases in just one luggage.

6. Learn Mandarin or Fukien language. As we all know, most of sellers are Chinese, it might help in getting big discounts. :)

7. Prepare a shopping list. So you won’t forget someone’s gift.

So there, I only missed nos. 5, 6 and 7. Lol. Have a fun-filled and hassle-free shopping! :)
