Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Winner Jovit Baldovino is being compared to Journey’s front man, Arnel Pineda.
Many were amazed by Jovit’s harsh and round voice especially when he sung Faithfully, Journey’s trademark song, during his audition. He admires Arnel Pineda and Journey so he sings their songs and uploaded them on YouTube, thus he became the newest YouTube sensation.
On the other hand, Arnel Pineda is also Filipino’s pride when he was discovered via YouTube and became Journey’s lead vocalist.
What if these two great singers will have a showdown? Jovit cannot reach high notes unlike Arnel Pineda. But Arnel Pineda’s words are sometimes inaudible. Will the super rookie Jovit Baldovino beats world-class singer Arnel Pineda? Hope they’ll have a singing showdown even just in ASAP XV.

I really think that Jovit is way better than Arnel. His very strong voice is much nicer to listen than Arnel’s.
This boy is a wonder. He sings like Arnel Pineda or even much better. Very nice voice like Air Supply.
I believe that jovit’s voice has more depth and clarity. Though he can’t reach high notes like Arnel, jovit manages to sing audibly as each words are able to pierce through listeners hearts. Great performances Jovit! keep up the good work!
