Who was eliminated? Mostly expected it’s either Jason Castro or Syesha Mercado. But surprise, surprise…. It’s CARLY SMITHSON!
Carly and Syesha were in the bottom two, there was no bottom three. Another great talent was voted off, another surprise elimination just like Michael Johns. And it will be a big surprise if David Archuleta will be eliminated next week, hopefully not!

At last, Kristy Lee Cook was sent home from American Idol April 16 elimination. She should have been eliminated earlier. It’s a good thing she’s pretty nonetheless, she would have got eliminated early on.
It was an all-female cast on the bottom three, with Brook White and Syesha Mercado.

American Idols will sing Mariah’s song on their next performances. Knowing how great Mariah’s vocal is, it will be a tough competition. Here are the songs they have picked:
Sure he has a great voice and good looks, but Michael Johns was sent home among the top 8 finalists. Joining him in the bottom three were Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson. It comes as a shocking elimination because I thought it could be Syesha or Carly.
