Korina and Mar Wedding

Finally, News Anchor Korina Sanchez and Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas tie the knot today, by four o’clock in the afternoon at Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City.

This puts to rest the rumor that Senator Mar Roxas is just using Korina for his political agenda.  Despite his retrieval on his plan of running for President, Senator Mar proves that LOVE is the reason why he married Korina.

Principal sponsors were: Former Senator Jovito Salonga,  Presidentiable Noynoy Aquino, ABS-CBN’s Eugenio Lopez III, Chief Justice Reynaldo Puno, Jorge Araneta, Ms. Rosa Rosal, Helen Costales, Ruby Roxas, Cecilia Lazaro and Maria Fores.

Connor Anthony Kidman Cruise or popularly known as Connor Cruise and the adopted son of Tom Cruise and estranged wife, Nicole Kidman, will soon be seen in the movie remake “Red Dawn“.

Justin Timberlake as Green Lantern? Green Lantern is a fictional character/superhero from comic books published by DC comics. Warner Brothers is said to be casting Timberlake to play as Hal Jordan, the lead role for the movie.

Hmm, I don’t think Timberlake is fit for the role. Sorry for the fans, but he is better off as a pop singer rather than as an actor. I would rather go for Ryan Reynolds or  James Franco.

The pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao will be featured in Nike commercial along with golf icon Tiger Woods,  NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and Tennis star Maria Sharapova.

Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to fly next week to shoot the Nike commercial. Buzz about the apparel and sports shoe  company commercial that will feature the mentioned sports icons has been heard since last year. Allegedly, Manny Pacquiao wasn’t available due to his preparations with his fight to Juan Manuel Marquez. 

Indeed, Pacquiao is an international star now. :)

I was awed by the beauty of this girl the first time I saw her as she was being introduced to play as Rosalinda, GMA 7 newest teleserye and Tagalog version of Mexican’s Rosalinda.

She got her features mostly from her Mom. Her eyes are so expressive and she has a beautiful smile. Carla is also a brainer, she graduated Cum Laude at Dela Salle University. Beauty and brain indeed! Well, it’s apparent on the way she talks with breeding and sophistication. Move over, Marian Rivera, I bet Carla Abellana will be the next big star of GMA 7.

Kris Allen Wife

Kris Allen won American Idol Season 8, as not expected. It was Adam Lambert who was favored by the judges early on. Well, I’m glad the “underdog” won. But in fairness, I admire Lambert’s powerful voice. Actually, it was him I noticed first and thought would win the season, however, I was disappointed by his weird personality. Then I saw Kris Allen performed, I was fascinated by his simplicity (I like it when he wears plain v-neck shirt and jeans), his adorable smile and boyish charm made me one of his fans.

But wait girls, Kris Allen is already married! Kris Allen’s wife whose name is Katy Allen, is visible as an audience in almost all of his performances. The beautiful blonde is Kris’ long time girlfriend from highschool. They got married just last year, on the month of September. Hope they will not be affected by nasty rumors that would come their way as Kris Allen is staring a new journey ahead. Goodluck! :)

Only You Koreanovela: Tagalog Version

Will Angel Locsin, Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo live up the role of Jillian, Jonathan and Tj of the hit Koreanovela: Only You? This will take place the slot of Betty La Fea, on which it will have its final conclusion this week.

On the original Only You Koreanovela, Jillian is played by the pretty Han Chae Young, who also starred in Sassy Girl and has a cameo role in My Girl (as the long lost cousin of Lee Dong Wook). I don’t see any resemblance of Han Chae Young and Angel Locsin, however I believe Angel is just fit for the role. Afar from the heavy dramas and fantaseryes she has done before, her versatility will be seen in this light comedy-drama adaptation.

Francis Magalona is Dead

francis.jpgActor-rapper Francis “Kiko” Magalona died today at 12:00 noon as announced on GMA 7′s Eat Bulaga where he is one of the main stay. Magalona was diagnosed with leukemia last year and he underwent several chemotherapy.

The Master Rapper will be surely missed as he is considered an icon in the music and entertainment industry. Aside from being a singer/rapper and actor, he is also a producer, director and photographer.

Francis M. was born on October 4, 1964. He is 44 years old. Farewell “Man from Manila“.
