g-080120-ent-idol-6prp420x400.jpg“I am your brother, your best friend forever…” Bet this will going to be a hit song and you have heard it first on American Idol Season 7. The man who sang this song came to the audition in Texas with white cape and white hat and belt out a tune which he originally composed especially for Simon.

December 29, 2007… St. Peter Batch 2000 of University of the Assumption, San Fernando Pampanga held its annual charity program at Duyan ni Maria (Mary’s Cradle) Orphanage in Hensonville, Angeles City. For three consecutive years, our class visited and distributed goods to Bahay Pag-ibig foundation at Holy Angel Village, City of San Fernando Pampanga. We decided it’s time to give joy to kids so our beneficiary for the year 2007 was the Duyan ni Maria Orphanage.

The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 had its premiere on Nov. 22, Thursday on AXN. Teams are consist of best friends, ex-housemates, couples, and siblings from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and for the first time – from Japan. I can say that Season 2 is more exciting as with its addition of hunky and gorgeous racers; especially the host is Singaporean hunk Allan Wu.

Host Allan Wu

As early as episode 1 was shown, best buddies Marc and Rovilson from Philippines are top favorite already and predicted most likely to win. The duo has shared friendship for four years, both are tv hosts. Marc is a model, a common face to magazines and commercials while Rovilson is a magazine editor. But, as the two shares a good friendship, others doubt if they are gay. I think not, aside from their physique, Marc has been linked to some actresses and models. And both love sports. Anyway, they did a good job as they landed second on the first episode. I hope on the second leg they’ll beat the Chong sisters from Malaysia who are quiet good and really a treat among the 10 teams.team-marc-rovilson.jpgMarc and Rovilson

The other Filipino teams are Henry and Trinidad, or Teri as she wants to be called. I find this couple very funny – a typical Filipina wife (nagger and very loud) and an American ander-de-saya, hahaha. It’s quite fascinating how they keep their marriage for thirteen years when they often argue, reconcile, and then argue again. Henry serves 20 years in the military; he is a retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty officer. It seems both are certified Kapuso as they sung “I-tak-tak Mo” inside a taxi on Singapore, unaware that they could be the last team to arrive – fortunately, they landed second to the last. I’m hoping they could catch up on the next episodes. Go team Philippines! :)
