Many are not aware that there’s a recent issue governing United Nations agencies and related groups, declaring ABORTION, a universally human right. In other countries, abortion has been legalized. The Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), is gathering 1,000,000 signatures to stop this declaration.

For more information, and for signing the petition, please go to  C-FAM.Org

Please help in sharing the petition, we must defend the defenseless.

Jacque Bermejo’s remarks on Facebook made a stir in social networking site. Her bad posts regarding the typhoon Ondoy is uncalled for. If you’re going to search her name in Facebook, you’ll see a lot of “hate campaign” groups against her.

But, an official statement came out from the alleged “true” Jacque Bermejo. Read on and judge if she’s telling the truth or just hiding from fangs of Pinoys whom she had offended:

Typhoon Ondoy hits Philippines last Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. It is the worst storm that hit our country for the last 42 years. Death toll reaches 100. Many were stranded from their homes, cars and offices. Even showbiz personalities were not spared such as Cristine Reyes, Jean Garcia, Lindsay Custodio and Gladys Reyes.

Here’s a video of a woman (later known as a doctor), escaping from drowning inside her car:

Senator Noynoy Aquino announced earlier this Wednesday morning that he will indeed run for President in 2010 elections. Today is the40th day of former President Corazon Aquino’s death wherein a mass was held at Club Filipino in Greenhills afterwhich, a presscon was held announcing his “response” to the clamor of many petitioners for him to run in presidency.
He picked Senator Mar Roxas  as his running mate. However, Senator Roxas has not yet confirmed if he’s willing to run as Vice President despite the fact that he retrieved from running as President in the 2010 elections apparently because Liberal Party persuaded Noynoy Aquino.

Could the proclamation of Noynoy Aquino to run for the Presidential post is the reason why Among Ed Panlilio opted not to run anymore in the Presidential election?

Vice Governor of Pampanga, Joseller “Yeng” Guiao declared his candidacy for Governor on next year’s election.

To my fellow Kapampangans, please vote for Yeng Guiao. As a politician, he has proven himself worthy of his position as Vice Governor of our province. He has helped a lot of Kapampangans.

His father, the late Gov. Bren Z. Guiao, is a good friend of my father. Incidentally, when my father died, he followed after a month. But the former governor’s legacy continued to live on through his son. My elder brother’s scholarship and monthly allowance was continued by Yeng Guiao. My mother can also attest the generosity of this young politician. Truly, a rare one from the world of politics.

Due to melamine scare that made people world wide prefer not to buy Chinese-made products, an e-mail informing consumers how to identify products from China by their barcodes are being forwarded recently.

In this e-mail, it informs readers to differentiate each country’s products by the first 3 digits of the bar code. It states: products made in China starts with barcode: 690/691/692.

However, Chan Chee Kong, a senior technician says it is not true. He cited an example: his Chinese cooking wines bore the Singapore-assigned prefix 888, despite being labeled as a product of China.

Will it be an antediluvian period?

I received a text message from a friend stating that:

“On October 17, 2008, the sun will rise continously for 36 hours (1.5 days). During this time, the US Countries will be dark for 1.5 days. It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 years. We’re very lucky to see this. This is a global phenomenon.”

The message was said to be courtesy of CNN/BBC news. Actually, I haven’t verified if this is true. I will just mark the calendar and see if this will really happen.

An email spread like wildfire about an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.1 that will hit the Philippines on July 18, 2008. My officemates are terrified upon knowing it that some of them will not go to work on that day. How was this predicted?

A Brazilian teacher named Juseleeno Nobulega Daroose predicted this event along with his other predictions including the death of Princess Diana, the 911 World Trade Center in New York, the Tsunami in Indonesia and recently, the China earthquake.

But, we should not panic as some news stated that Daroose only claim these predictions as his own. And according to Philvolcs, there is no scientific explanation behind this as no one can tell the exact magnitude and date of an earthquake. Let’s just pray that it will not really happen.
