Take Me Out! is a Philippine game show that will premiere on Monday, April 26, 2010. Take Me Out is a franchise from Free Mantle Media, who has a copy right of Taken Out, an original dating game show from Australia.

Take Me Out! aims to convince a woman to date the mystery guy. But mystery guy has to impress first the thirty single ladies through series of videos and interviews about him. If the ladies like him, they will switch their lights on, otherwise they will switch it off and if no lights remain, the guy must leave the show and will find a new mystery guy again. If there are more lights on, the mystery guy can choose the woman he wants to date with. Hmm, sounds interesting!

Among the talented artists of GMA 7 Kapuso Network, the Prince of R&B Jay-R, was chosen to host the newest and hottest game show on TV.

Survivor Philippines: Palau had its Grand Finale tonight. Top 3 Survivors were Jeff Gaitan, Amanda Colley Van Cool, and Justine Ferrer. (more…)

Starstruck V the Strikeback premiered tonight at GMA-7. StarStruck’s host, Dingdong Dantes, narrated this season’s twists and challenges. It also featured the StarStruck Survivors who made big names in the Philippines’ showbiz industry such as Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal. StarStruck Avengers, though they didn’t win, also made it to showbiz like Sheena Halili, Paulo Avelino, Mart Escudero, Katrina Halili, Rich Asuncion, Lj Reyes, Yasmine Kurdi, Dion Ignacio, Rainier Castillo, Arci Muñoz, Charisse Solomon and Iwa Moto were featured as well.

StarStruck V also paid tribute to the departed who became part of the reality show: Khryss Adalia and Douglas Quijano who became StarStruck Councils, and to Marky Cielo, StarStruck 3 Ultimate Survivor. I got teary-eyed when they showed video clips of Marky Cielo. His untimely death is unforgettable.

Other hosts of StarStruck V will be Raymond Gutierrez and Carla Abellana.

UPDATE:

Since Family Feud’s host Richard Gomez will run for 2010 politics, he will be temporarily replaced by Dingdong Dantes. Thus, leaving StarStruck V hosting to Raymond Gutierrez, Carla Abellana,  and surprise – Dennis Trillo.

Hermes Bautista of Pinoy Big Brother Season 3 Double Up Edition is a proud Kapampangan although he was born in United States. He stayed in San Agustin, City of San Fernando Pampanga during his teen-age years.

When Hermes entered Big Brother’s house, he was not quite on a spotlight. But recently, due to Carol’s obvious “thing” on him that she even accused him of being a flirt, he’s getting attention now. Although some says, he looks like a “call boy”. Ooppss, my friend will get angry by this hehe. Just a little bit of info: My friend and Hermes used to be textmates and almost courted her, but he went back to California. Ssshhhhh!! (^^ ,)

I think this is the most exciting part as of this week in Pinoy Big Brother Double Up. “Couple Pretenders” Kat and Pat are getting closer, and real husband Jimson is getting jealous more and more until his emotions burst! Tonight, he will reveal the truth as he cannot take it anymore. Are they going to fail the task given by Big Brother? Let’s find out tonight.
