She’s tagged as the next Jasmine Trias though she sounds better than the American Idol season three’s third placer. What with her petite physique, she can belt out a tune as high as Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman on which she chose for her August 2007 audition. But Ramiele Malubay sadly bid farewell last night after luckily being included on the final twelve down to ten. With her in the bottom three were Kristy Lee Cook and for the first time, Brook White.
The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 had its premiere on Nov. 22, Thursday on AXN. Teams are consist of best friends, ex-housemates, couples, and siblings from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and for the first time – from Japan. I can say that Season 2 is more exciting as with its addition of hunky and gorgeous racers; especially the host is Singaporean hunk Allan Wu.

As early as episode 1 was shown, best buddies Marc and Rovilson from Philippines are top favorite already and predicted most likely to win. The duo has shared friendship for four years, both are tv hosts. Marc is a model, a common face to magazines and commercials while Rovilson is a magazine editor. But, as the two shares a good friendship, others doubt if they are gay. I think not, aside from their physique, Marc has been linked to some actresses and models. And both love sports. Anyway, they did a good job as they landed second on the first episode. I hope on the second leg they’ll beat the Chong sisters from

This is my fave performance from Magni, aside from Creep. He’s really good, i hope he would be the lead vocalist of Supernova. He sings very well and has an impact on stage. Well, I only had few info about him. All I know is that he came from Iceland, that’s why he is called Iceman. He is also called penguin, hmm, is it because of his country as well? And that he dearly loves his wife and son (how sweet of him!). Hope to see more of his performance on Rockstar Supernova!

I did not have a favorite on the American Idol Season 4. But this time, upon seeing this guy, you can tell whom I?m rooting for. His full name is Brett ?Ace? Young, 24 years old from Los Angeles, California. It is not just his being hunk that made me like him, but it is on the way he sings. Randy Jackson thought he was one of the best singers he had heard in the competition, while it is apparent that Paula Abdul is already so into him. And Simon Cowell? Well, he?s not convinced that he is one of the best, but he likes him though because he has this X-factor.
When he sung George Michael?s Father Figure, oh man, he definitely knows how to play the camera! Surely, he would sweep off the feet of many girls finalists. I just hope he?ll make it through the final 12! =)
?Kapag nalulungkot ka, isipin mo lang ang mga tao sa ICU.? Have heard of this line? Right, Keana Reeves said this on Pinoy Big Brother last night. I actually laughed when she said this to Rico Robles, a disc jockey and also a housemate. But when you ponder deeply to the sentence, aba, sensible din pala si Keana!
There were times that I find myself feeling alone and sad. During those times, my ?therapy? is to talk to Him and though not entirely, I feel relieved. Now, I think I found a supplementary to my ?therapy?. I?ll just think of Keana?s word of advice. Why not? She?s right, there are more things to be happy and thankful than to think of problems and situations that will make me sad. Because I?m healthier compare to the people at the ICU, which is something to be happy about. Well, Keanna, I think I have to thank you… not only for making me laugh every time I watch you in PBB, but mostly for the inspiring words you mentioned. Rest assured, I’ll monitor your other ‘words of wisdom’, hehehe!
My favorite among the housemates finally emerged as the first Pinoy Big Brother winner. Jennivev “Nene” Santillan Tamayo is a millionaire now, much to the envy of other pinoys (hell yeah, including me!). Well, she deserves it anyway ? with her strong personality and right attitude, no doubt she was chosen by the pinoys to be the winner. That puts to rest the issue that PBB is scripted. Actually, I?m not a big fan of PBB. I missed many of its episodes including the pilot episode. I was even dismayed by Chx?s flirtatious attitude. Yet, I still watched the show because of Nene, Jayson, and Franzen.
Apparently, there would be a season II of PBB. I think I?d still watch the show. But one thing?s for sure, the second batch won?t surpass the popularity of the first PBB housemates. Whether the PBB housemates would be a fad or fame, one thing?s certain ? they depict the real pinoy values. And they became instant stars!
